Now for anyone who thinks "Hell no Im not nearly good enough" BOLLICKS
These track days are brilliant and designed for all levels of riding. Its not a race, its about getting out and getting better in a safe environment. (Sorry Peta to highjack your thread but its a great thread for us local ladies to keep in touch with each other).
They are really well run, and you can get unofficial coaching (experienced riders get out and have you follow their lines, and tell you how you are going).
I will be there seeing as I won a track day after giving up my bike a couple of weeks ago (most curtious - spl - rider) when Chris' bike decided to have a melt down (better than a grumpy partner to come home to).
Ive done a couple now, and its been great.
So ladies come along, I do recommend it and you will come away having learned heaps and also a great social day.
OK, highjack over, back to the upcoming ride.
Loved the lunch thing last time, and it would be nice if we took turns in doing something similar. Maybe we could do a collective lunch thing this time, you know, bring a plate and stop somewhere nice to share.
Also, I will bring my decent camera, and we will get a good group photo (last rides photos were great by the way) of us lined up standing next to our bikes.
Thanks Peta for bringing this group together, its fun and I think we will have many great adventures together in time to come

Its now looking like I need to go to Whangarei the weekend of the next ladies ride, but Im still trying to work around that. Gotta put my son first Im afraid, but there is still time to figure things out, just comes down to budget, cant do everything Im afraid

    Ladies Rides

A BIG thanks to Peta for organinsing these rides. Roll on for the next one on 25th May. It's a great chance to meet more riding buddies & great for the confidence. I've since been out & about heaps. I headed off down the western access road with another lady, via Mangakino, Turangi, Taupo, & home to Tga. Was a long ride by the time we got home. She had only been riding for a month, I didn't realise that. So, she clocked up some k's that day, in the wet & getting home in the dark. First time for everything.
The next ride I took off to Gisborne by myself, stayed a night while the weather was shit, then headed back home via the East Coast. Just great.

Im working on being there, just have to change my plans with Jay, but also need to look at budget next couple of days, cant do all being track day, ladies ride and Whangarei ride three weekends in a row unfortunately. But hey, really want to support your rides Peta, was such a hoot last time, even if I did lead half the group astray
