This film is on at the World Cinema Showcase, coming around Auck, Welly, CHch, and Dunedin. It's gotten amazing reviews, see it if you are a space buff.

The producers trawled through hours and hours of original NASA footage to find spectacular, unfamiliar material. They remastered everything so that the footage, most of it colour, looks as good as new.
... staggering archive footage, beginning with a sequence of failed rocket launches that immediately remind you of the overarching fragility and danger of those early missions...
...the spectacular vistas greeting later missions are far less familiar. Apollo 15 set down next to Hadley Rille, an ancient canyon flecked with boulders the size of houses and flanked by the luminous slopes of mountains rising almost three miles into the inky sky, with the rounded peaks of the lunar Apennines in the distance. Brushed up and on the big screen, you can see why commander David Scott described this view as ‘the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen’.”

It is preferential to refrain from the utilisation of grandiose verbiage in the circumstance that your intellectualisation can be expressed using comparatively simplistic lexicological entities. (...such as the word fuck.)

Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?
