When we were finally all moving out at the end of the year, I wrote my list of things to do on the final weekend, and left it on the kitchen table where Rebecca would probably see it.:

Mow lawns
Move boxes to new flat
Dismantle bed
Book the carpet cleaners
Snog Rebecca
Take old couch to dump.

She nosily looked at my list at about mid-day, and decided "Why not!" and greeted me with a nice gin and tonic an hour later.
The bed didn't get dismantled that day and I learned where my flatmates' secret tatoos were hidden.

That was a good last day.
