    Rebuilding the shock

Ok I've got a full time job now and will have some money to play with. My rear shock is fucking gone. Some people think the spring just needs replacing or re-something. Anyway my question is where can i go to get my shock rebuilt? I've read on here before that someone else had it done.

hmmm hamilton is close to where that guy gouden gizzler (sp) lives. if its the same guy he does an excellent job. Better going there in person and see all the ktm's etc that are getting set up for what looks like pro motocross, either that or a rich hobbiest. this gouden guy has some awesome pics on the wall as well from when he was competing, hes well known to quite a few ppl within the community. his comment " when i rode pro in NZ there were only 2 guys that could beat me regularly, darrel king and his brother". This when he must have been in his 40's or so. but...........ooops, yer, he does a good shock rebuild too

Will be seeing a mate tonight that has goudens number (ive lost mine) will PM you with it when Ive got it. He serviced my vfr shock (which works better than the new OEM one I picked up) for 150 and rebuilt my KDX shock, which was just a spring with a knackered shaft when I took it too him, for 415. If its a shock with limited adjustments he'll ask you how you like to ride etc so that he can set it up for your type of riding.
Will get the ph # too you asap.

Let me know what you reckon of the rebuild when you get it done Magua. Mine is so crap that I bottomed the Fecker out one day going down the road to my grandparents place. Some how managed to fold my 3inch high number plate in half which wasn't a bad effort. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

I'm with Magua. "WHY DID I BUY A SHIT BIKE!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Cant trust a goddamn Yammie dealer as far as they and their shop can be kicked I reckon. For my next bike I am seeing Red (like a fire engine). Go the Honda, Go the Honda.

    Long live Honda......................

    Me Too

Any chance of getting those contact details as? I just got knocked back on a warrant for no Damping on my rear shock, among other things. Cheers.
