    Battery overcharging

Gidda just put a new 3 phase reg/rec unit (with cooling fins) onto my NC-24. At idle, its charging around 13.7 V fine. at 2,000RPM its charging at around 14 V not good and @ 5,000 around 17 V and so on and so on. Wondering what the problem is. Buggered regulator????
    Another one bites the dust!!!

Looks that way. Take it back and get another one.
If thats not going to work run it with 2 phases connected and see what the voltages look like.
