Still got the light....or rather a trailer one I got from repco.
Wasn't sure about the reflectors...so have nothing at the mo...but I suspect I could get some small pushbike ones and stick em on with double sided tape or something.

Unless they have to be a certain size to qualify for a WOF???

Just took a quick look where a reflector could go and it's obvious really...onto the back of the number plate light.
You can see it in the phot...the black box above the plate.

I've now been pulled over twice in the last 4 days in Akl. Once was fair enough i.e. speeding on the motorway - at which point the copper examained my modifed plate and proclaimed it legal "just". Today, another copper pulled me over, this time I wasn't be my normal good self i.e. not speeding, turned out he wanted to tell me my plate wasn't legal in his opinion. I did mention that another cop had approved it & the LTSA via a WOF inspection, but he wasn't interested. He took my details and told me to restore it to original.

F#$K knows really. Guess I get a consensus i.e. wait for a 3rd cops view!! Your plate should be right, though yes a light and reflector is a must for these over zealous highway men.

See here for apicture of my mounted plate

    thanks,

LOL .... what a difference changing the angle of the plate makes.

I'm glad you spotted the problem and fixed it

Had my Gt250 in for it's 20000km service on Friday.
As part of the server I've had the rear shock put onto it's firmest setting.

Reason for this is that the bike will be ridden 2up now as the wife is commuting into town with me. The change has made the Bike feel much better (almost lighter), and I highly recommend the change if you do a lot of 2up riding.

    1up it's a little harsh, but nothing that I can't live with

Plan is to get a bigger bike in the future (and keep the GT250)
I finally got my knee down! …and my shoulder …and my pillion’s head.
