Hmm... Is there any more info on this? If that is possible I might call in for the day and do a late-ish ride home

Jaysus Jas! Doing a late-ish ride home over the Napier Taupo road will be ferkin freezing to say the least. May as well bring ya tent n stay the night. If ya can afford to do a day trip then the whole shebang aint a whole lot more. Live it up while you can.

Lol, I know the Napier Taupo road well... It will be cold but it's bout the best I can do!

Seeing as I can't drink any more I would be much colder staying there the 2 nights than I would be for just the 2 hours home... I would rather the shorter amount of shivering

So uhh... Where abouts is the rally site? Joe and I will more then likely call in Saturday

Head sth on Hwy 2 out of Hastings, until you get to Waipawa. Ask for directions at a petrol station. The whole town will know where it's at.

Was talking to a mate, last year he had to pay the full gate price to visit, so he didn't.
I'll be turning up late saturday arvo, via the Patangata hotel.

That is a bit dangerous, the taupo rd was closed on Sunday night due to rain , ice etc.

they (the organisers)might be a little reluctant to let people in who say they are just coming for the day,if you look at it from their point of view you could pay for the day visit(if you can)then bunk in with your mates who've maybe brought a big tent?

Sarge isn't the camping type I think. Missed him on the Coro loop camp out aswell and that was a wet but fun one.

Yeah for sure but you don't get a collection of people/bike like that everyday either.

Yeah that fair enough too, but if you pay full gate charges it's skin off no ones nose eh...
Another reason I did'nt take you up on the offer of a site is I don't own a tent either.

Yeah camping ain't my favorite thing to do but wet weather camping/riding really does nothing for me.
