Great report Jay. I was highly impressed when Warren Turner's record was smashed to pieces. (Although I don't think Warren was, especially when he left early)

King Jay - has a nice ring to it don't ya think.

Good on Drew too for giving it his all.

Congrats Jay! huge effort, even talking about the speeds you were doing made me nervous. I sure was crossing my fingers for Drew to win .......but I was absolutely STOKED for ya all the same. The battle was so close at the end and you both gave it a dam good go!

Great to see the win go to another blardy top bloke!

    Great report Jay !
We shouldn't have bailed so early, Would have been good to see the grin after a 2 09 !
Sure won't be questioning any predictions ya make bro, well done !!
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

    Bowls can wait !

Great write up Jay and was good meeting you.

As I mentioned in Drews write up, when I was risking life and limb getting photos from the side of the road, you came by so close and fast I almost shot myself. Unfortunately I didn't get the camera to focus quick enough so missed getting a good shot of you

Here is the best of the start line shots I could find.

As usual Jay you have impressed the shit out of me with your professionalism, commitment, skill and the obvious pleasure that you get out of what you do. It's a serious business but it's so good to see that it can still be fun at your level.
There were a lot of us riding with our mate Derek on our minds and in our hearts. It was great to see him on board with you. You did him proud mate.

Couldn't have said it better Clive.

Well done Jay all this and you've got a good sense of humor too.
Though I'm rather nervous about what you might come back at me with!
