A teaser. A look at what One of the New Colour Schemes are going to be like, before they are actually released... In otherwords a late 07 model with the 08 feature off the colour scheme only ....Does that make it any clearer

Nope not fuel injected. As indicated in one of the above posts - not happening in Nz for a while.

Two tone paint scheme is the only 08 feature....

Shoulda pointed that one out in my above post....I'll edit it now

    Hysoung GT250R

    The 2008 Hysoung GT250R's are the two tone (Red/Black & Silver/Black).

The 2008 Hysoung GT250R's have only "5" gears, not 6.

    They are not fuel injected.

They use 41mm USD (Upside down) forks, which are really only 3mm off the superbikes (600cc and most USD fork bikes).

Realistically your looking at only about 160kph MAX top end speed.

With the 17L fuel tank, 4L are for reserve. You should get approx 450km riding at road legal speeds (ie: 105kp/h in a 100kph zone).

NZ dealers only offer 1 year warranty. Hysoung only warranty for 1yr, the Aussies have off thier own bats added another year at the local dealers own expense. However, most dealers can sell you extended warrantees if you feel you need them.

I'm not a complete idiot... some pieces are missing

    Thumbs up

Info and pic for the 2008 GT650X is here:

    http://www.korider.com/forum/index.php

"The technology is also a step up over current 650 Hyos. The 650X has radial mounted brakes and a stiffer frame and swing arm than the GT's. As with all 650 machines it has fuel injection which improved power and fuel efficiency."

And be sure to have a listen to the Screaming Demon exhaust on the YouTube video - turn up your speakers!

Man, I just can't believe some of the parts people chuck on their Hyos.

Sure, it may look impressive but it isn't making it go any faster!

Though I do have to say Hyosungs are here to stay and it's good to see that they're expanding their market with Supermotos and Stree fighter 650s.

With nearly any bike - or cage - some people like adding and modifying. Its their money so why not spend it the way they want? As far as performance with aftermarket pipe(s) there can be some improved performance (4% is claimed by GoFastLoudly) but mostly I think it just sounds better/louder. Personally I'd rather save money by not modifying a 250 since I will upgrade soon but other bikers (who may have their bike for 2 years or more) think differently so be it.

Hey - I started this thread but now we are:
so lets stick to what's new on the 2008 Hyo's.
