08 Cliffhanger hillclimb - my photo report

There have been some first class ride reports from the weekend.
I didn't ride, but was there taking pictures. So this report is based on my view through the lens.

    Photo 1: Anticipation
What goes through the riders mind while sitting on the start line? Nervous, excitement, fear maybe. Perhaps time feels like it has stopped, waiting….waiting.

    Photo 2: The launch
The wait is over, the starter has tapped the shoulder and all hell is unleashed. Must focus, time for a couple of minutes of motorcycling nirvana.

    Photo 3: All the road
Alone on the road, both sides legally available for use, no oncoming traffic. This is how it should always be.

    Photo 4: On the limit
Must go faster. First place is within reach. Must go faster!!!!

    Photo 5: Alternative horse power
A lazy weekend flyby that provides the crowds with a different machine to admire. Sleek lines and a great sound are a winning combination for bikers.

Photo 6: The future King of the Hill?
Young and old enjoy the show the bikers are providing. The smile on the face says it all.

I have two other photos I would like to add.

    Photo 1: Deano
A lot of work is done behind the scenes by this man for these events. Then to spend the weekend riding two bikes and winning with both. Truly an outstanding effort.

    Photo 2: Sully60
This photo I really like. The colours, the motion, the clarity, the pose. It really does come together well.

It is so cool to be able to get pics like this Nigel. Thanks again. I'm looking forward to Deanos article. Has anyone thought of submitting something to Performance Bikes in the UK. They love our shit.

Your carefully selected photos cover the essents of the event exteremely well. Love the finishing shot, capturing it from the boys POV.

I remember seeing you on the corner lying on grass in on one of runs, Remember thinking, Corner entry marker.... Check... turn in....Mid corner - start getting on the gas check..... wow some dude is lying in the grass about a meter from the apex.... shit they are game !, camera has big lense ! I could then visualise the shot ...thought they would look cool (the Drew shot)..... Then , thats right where I'm I ... mid corner , full gas and around corner. Corner exit and into the next.
It's amazing what you notice at speed, all thoughts seems to flash through your mind real quick.

I will be struggling just to put something resembling an article together for BRM. If someone wants to write something for PB, then be my guest - just liaise with me over the technicalities and provide a proof (have to plug the sponsors/classes etc), unless it is purely from a rider's perspective.

Mr Kendog is likely to provide pics, but they should be different to the ones I'm using.
