    1996 YZF600 Clutch "issue"

The clutch in my new toy seems to be slipping. BUT its the height of weirdness.
If I drop it down a cog so the revs are where they should be then gas her up she revs up as she should.
If Im a gear or two too high and give it a handfull -then the bike starts to rev up normally then it kinda goes--Hang on he wants to go fast (ish) and the clutch slips for a couple of seconds until the rest of the bike catches up with what I'm trying to do.
I thought--yup new clutch then I wondered --sheesh wonder if its a desighn thing with the yzf

Sounds like your clutch springs are a feeling a bit sad. Pop the clutch out and preload the springs with some washers.

The slippage will go away. Promise.
