    Nitro powered GS-StormCL-1 Off Roader

Been bored waiting for new Wave discs to turn up for Aprilia so went & got another gas powered off road car . Had a $2500 road car but was abit limited where it could be driven so have gone full offroad this time . The Beast is a GS Avenger CL-1 Storm
    Length-520mm
    Width-310mm
    Height-220mm
    Ground clearance-75mm
    Wheelbase-325-330mm
    Track 306mm-308mm
    Weight-3480G
    Motor- Big Block .21cc 1.3/4HP--38000RPM
    Top speed- 70k
    4WD LSD system
    Fuel- 20%Nitro-15%oil

Got it home batterys in check over fueled up then fired up & set mixtures & run in on top of a box for 1 tank of gas then round the back lawn for another using half to 3/4 throttle . Let cool down then reset low & middle mixtuers & refueled then gave it 3/4 revs for the next full tank which ended up ripping the fuck out of my lawn 4WD drifts around corners & in a straight line this thing is bloody powerfull
With 70k top speed you don't want to drive it into your feet . Have done just over 1L of Nitro fuel now so shop wants to do first free service on it to check over motor & set up then I'll give it complete death at the local dirt track over some big jumps & see how it goes flat out , should be excellent if the small drive today is anything to go by . For $650 ready to run it is bloody cheap & Kool way to have some thrills with ya boys . Its great been a big Kid still LOL

thats cool, I like RC toys, is that a stock kit, what sort of money would one expect to fork out for one include radio gear???

these would go well in something like a RC Boat or monster truck

Haha, I love RC, only got electric cars though, a Baja Bug and a Subaru Impreza rally car.

Boats on the other hand, I'm in the process of tracking down a new weed eater engine for my latest boat.
My old one had a 35cc weed eater motor in it, boat was made out of ply wood and was 1 metre long, estimated top speed was over 100kmh, we were doing 85kmh in my mates speed boat and the wee rc boat left us for dead, then it hit a stick in the water and disentigrated, around 10 big barrel rolls, pieces flying off every where, was awesome!
The current boat will be a little tamer!

Paved roads are just another example of wasted tax payer dollars.

$650 is for everything Dude - Radio gear ,fuel bottle , glow starter, Ready to run just put gas & batterys into it run the motor in then you can do some 8FT
jumps like I did today with mine at a skateboard park . Put it through some tree branches which where about 7ft of the ground beside bowl was way kool . Its run in pretty well now so will get it serviced & checked over next week as that was part of the deal from my shop & buy some more fuel as nearly run out already LOL
