Well, not so much me as Buddy Guy.
For close on fifteen years I've been wanting to see the man Eric Clapton calls "The greatist guitarist alive". And Blues Fest 08 at Whitianga gave me a sample of his incredible abilities with guitar.
And for his ability to play with the crowd. Wow.
My next wish is to see him in a full concert, as 1 1/2 hrs just leaves you wanting more. (a long set as it was).
KT Tunstal is a ball of female fun loving energy, and gives her all on stage.
Which is more than can be said for Ian Brown, (the clown).

I don't know which UK football club this plonker started singing at, but best he crawls back to it. Bottom line, he was told by most of the crowd to piss off stage, and that he was shit. Pretty much only the drunks thought he was cool. He couldn't carry a tune in a wheel barrow.
Midge Marsden did his usual high standard set, as did some new artist's( to me at least), Little Bushman out of Welly I think, and Xavia Rudd from OZ.
And not to forget Kev Mo out of the US. Awsome Blues artist.
Herbs, and Hollie Smith rounded out the main stage acts, and as I didn't visit the minor stage, then I'll leave that be.
Pic's are average, as I just couldn't be bothered.
