2004 World Long Track Final, New Plymouth

I understand the final will be held again in New Plymouth on Saturday 6th November. The latest NZMCN has a full page ad for it.

I went last year and it was great. These guys are nuts. 200kph+ on dirt, and no brakes. Yeeehaaaarr!!!

I would thoroughly recommend paying the extra money for a grandstand seat.

I would suggest that anyone wanting to go book accommodation now, as last year motels were at a premium.

I'll post more information as it comes to hand. If anyone else knows anything more, please let us know.

Apparently there's a Rugby game on there the same weekend, so definitely sort out accomodation early, peeps.

I was talking to Dean (?) at Motorcycle Trader yesterday & he said the Inaugural NZ Motorcycle Show (as billed in the ad in the mag) will be at the Long Track event & no extra charge. Fingers crossed they get it sorted out properly & we can look forward to a great event to get great deals on gear/tools/bikes in the future.

Craig & I are planning on going.

Why do they have to do it 4 days before my exams finish

The best thing that happens in NP all year and I miss it by a week. Dammit.

We know that Lynda doesn't do tents, but for the rest of us, November should be warm enough to camp out.
it's not a bad thing till you throw a KLR into the mix.
