Why then its laser jammers on the market, which work for laser only BTW and no radar jammers?

As I explained, a device that jammed radar would be illegal under laws controlling transmitting devices ....
In NZ police use a public band, so they would have to tolerate and interfering device that was not a jammer. This may not be the case overseas, it may be that the police are the only authorised user of the frequency.

Actually, a device designed to jam laser (or radar) is possibly a "conspiracy to defeat the course of justice", but otherwise laser radiation is uncontrolled.

A laser jammer is a low-power laser device, like a kids-toy laser-pointer. There are little or no regulations on these, and you can point it where you choose without care.

It is possible that if you use a laser device to deliberately obstruct an officer, then they (rightly) might take issue with that. You can use any seemingly innocuous item you choose to obstruct an officer (donut?) and it's still obstruction.

A detector doesn't obstruct anyone or anything.

Me too - didn't know you could buy them at all - let alone pay them off...

But you CAN pay fines off - low-lifes see them as some kind of hire-purchase I think.

My detector cost me about $800 and it has paid for itself a hundred times over.
