Just had a gentle reminder...
Went to do some shopping in the mall.. & whadda ya know..there's ladies there offering to do a quick blood test to see what type you are.. so I went & had a seat..
B+.. which is one of the uncommon types.. only 9% of the population.. (B+ can also be given to AB+ patients who are only 3% of the population!!) so I'm signed up to give a donation next week! Some poor unsuspecting motorcyclist might need it!!!
Aside from that.. tis an absolutely BEEEEEAUTIFUL day here in paradise!!
have a good one ya'll

How easy is it to find out your blood type?
"Some people are like clouds, once they fuck off, it's a great day!"
Was easy as!She pricked my middle finger & put 3 drops of blood on a card.. then put a drop of special liquid on each drop, mixed them together & waited for a few seconds.. depending on "what happened" to each drop.. ie: my first 2 drops went a little bit lumpy'ish, the 3rd one didn't.. then she looked on a card with lines of photos.. & was able to work out which "type" of blood I had, depending on the combination of "droplett results"..
took all of about 5 minutes!
Give NZ Blood a call.. 0800 448 325 & they will be able to sort you out if ya wanna find out.. & maybe donate!

Ha - never found out what blood type I was today - I forgot to ask after they had given me chocolate bikkie and drink.
What an easy way to give someone who really needs it help. I was impressed with the volunteers there, the friendly help and how at ease they made me feel. My son watched, he was really interested but did look a bit green at one stage, worried that I was getting hurt (which it hardly did).
So, if anyone hasn't already done it, now is the time to sign up. There was a plaque on the wall from a donor who had given 201 times - that is 4 times a year for 50 years! I doubt if I'm going to make that sort of record, but once every three months isn't a lot of time to give. Especially for little 'uns like Liberty ~
