Jees I dont know how I couldve overlooked...

    The Honda CBR1100XX BLACKBIRD!

Truly awesome bikes. Great sports tourer, the original mega fast bike before the busa (though last time I was at the drags the blackbird spanked the busas)

    Y'reckon?
I know it's subjective, but I reckon the SV rear end looks worngA. Maybe it's the two lines of LEDs? :spudwhat:
The TL-R rear end looks more betterer.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

They dont need much work, a hump, integrated tail light, and bolt the plate to the back of the undertray. Then all you can see is 2 cans, and fuck off rear tyre

Though I think the blackbird is the pick of the bunch.

So who wants to help me spend all my money on a new bike

Figure I'll hit the bike shops, test ride ones i can find on TM and anything else in my price range that takes my fancy and take it from there...

    Aprillia RSV Mille

    Ducati Monster 900

Couple that where in price range and like the feel of.

Going to go look at a nice VTR as well as a TL

Not a fan of the VTR - restricted to 180? pah.. what a waste of a thou.

I have not found a RF900 in the flesh to sit on yet...

Now the VTR - what I know about them, is good low end but rubbish top end. Hungry on the gas and they snap in half really easy.

I have a feeling going 'down' to a vtr would be annoying for me. But not having ridden one i'm not sure.

Its a toss up really - TL1000 or an RF900 Which one would be closer 'performance' wise?

    Blah

    OK Latest Update!

    I have FOUND A BIKE !

The owner has agreed to ride it from Christchurch to Auckland this week!

Now - I need to work out how much it will cost to travel by bike to Auckland, including ferry trip.

I found a price for ferry at $130 does that sound right?

KM's are about 1077km according to google.

    How much is that?
