    WTB: '06-'07 gsxr600

I've tried different bikes and have now decided what I like

I'm looking for the above bike in good cond. I think most will be out of my price range, but I think the whole "never say never" is a good saying... and I'm happy to wait until one comes along. I'm not very keen on one that has been raced or crashed but again... Never say never.

    Jas

...I've used the same thread as my older thread so I don't start loads of threads lol.

Jrandom is selling his SRAD 750. It's got a great motor in it now, but might physically be a bit big for you

Please test ride before buying, each person has a different opinion on what they want/what suits them etc. If you're smaller, seat height, seat width, tank width will all play a part as well.

My zx10 should be up for sale shortly... but that ain't a 6hundy.

Enjoy the test riding, and please take it easy on the 600 you choose, while you get to grips with it.

It's another 2 n a half weeks till I can go for my full license, So I can't test ride the bikes I'm interested in yet... So I can't decide exactly what bike I'm after. Although I am only looking at 3 different bikes now... The Yamaha R6, Suzuki GSXR600 and Kawasaki ZX636r above the year of 2000, preferably a bit newer then that though too.

Any one thinking of selling their bike or know of some one who might be selling theirs? Please get in contact with me via PM

    Not considering the cbr?

With your height i don't think you would fit an r6 too well would ya?, in saying thati don't think the 02 etc seat height is as high as the 06-07.

ZX would serve you well. but i'm biast because i'm a kawasaki man.

You know i don't like gixxers to me they are a bad omen, but thats just me.

I wouldve though the CBR would be a better fit, a very nice bike for the years you are looking at too the 04 etc, we all know i'm not a huge honda fan to put it lightly, but in this case i think it would be best suited.

But hey ride them all and see what you think, but i think you should definately have at least a test on a CBR.

Just my opinion Jas, take from it what you like.

Thanks Gav but I've had a sit on an older 750 SRAD version and it was a lot bigger then the 600's. Not too keen on the bulkiness of the SRAD's either.

Sadly out of my price range... Nice bike though and I'm sure it won't be long before it'll be sold

Will definitely test ride! I have bought 3 bikes now with out test riding first, it didn't really matter as I never planned to keep them very long with the licensing system, but as this will be my bike for a few years I really want to make sure it fits. Mmmm ZX10 *drools*... I like my license so I'll stick to the 600 for now I'm planning to nanna it for the first few months until I'm well tuned with the bike

Thanks for your opinion Mark... I really don't like the look of the CBR and yes... I'm going to be fussy with looks on this bike hehe. Funnily enough, as far as I know, the Kwaka actually has the highest seat height out of all the 600's.
I've ridden an R6 before and they aren't too bad, with a few adjustments or even just some adjusting to the seat foam, it would fit nicely. As far as the "gixxer disease" any bike can crash it's just up to the rider to try their best to avoid it... So I'm not worried bout gettin a Suzuki
I'll try to test ride as many 600's as I can, even if they aren't on my list as you never know what could surprise you!

Buy a Honda! hehe, thats what all the cool people do!!

I highly suggest you ride them and then choose. They all feel pretty different and might not suit your needs.
    Good luck.
Let me know if you need a test ride pilot...
