Car dealers--scum of the earth etc etc.
Truth is most guys still in the business are just ma and pa kettle opperations trying to make a living.
Every single "trick" car dealers are soposed to pull has been pulled on them by the public.
ANYHOO--Few days ago I traded a toyohonaki in on a toyota wagon.
I test drove the trade in and hey not mint but ok.
Customer couldn't raise deposit till after the weekend.
Next week comes and deal completed. Customer drives off laughing.
I hop in the trade and it sounds like a train. HMMM
Take it to the mechanics and --oops sorry frosty --quote for repairs 2k tankee ta. Yup said customer had R B and A'd this poor car --includeing by the chunks of wood imbedded in the sump a fair bit of off road bush bashing.
FAST FORWARD to today. Customer comes in with a split CV boot they want repaired.($80.00 repair)
No problem says I. Tell ya what Ill sort that out for ya (whipping out the repair quote) And you just wright me a cheque for the repairs to your trade in. Sound fair??
YEA I know It wont stick but it was worth it to see the look on their faces
