TT500 exhausts

I'm looking for a new TT500 exhaust system and so far the only option seems to be a Musket muffler copy of the original pipe. Now don;t get me wrong, these are good mufflers and I've used one on a previous project, but I'd like to know if there are any other alternatives.
The musket option is a two part unit and costs about $320 all up. It is black painted mild steel and is the original pipe size. It is the high pipe right side path.
I have emailed Geoff Morris Concepts in Aussie for prices on their systems but haven't heard back yet. They make HL500 pipes that are left side path and in stainless I think, so they're going to be the upper end I think. I'm hoping they also make a right side high path stainless option for about $400 but that's probably being wildly optimistic.
Does anyone know of an NZ option?

Grab some pipe & some bends & make your own it is very easy to do , plus you can make it go where you want it to . I use TiG to weld pipes together some as welding S/Steel dairy pipe technique . Made all the pipes for my 4 XT/TT500 I owned & modded .

Just an update - got an email back from Geoff Morris at GMC in Aussie and it's not half bad. He makes a lot of HL500 replica parts including whole frames and does a left side pipe for both the HL and standard TT500's. I'm trying to think of why the left side is better and I'm buggered if I can think of one other than that the carby does point to the right so the left is clearer (with the battery and airbox gone). These are $460 landed here which compares to $300 odd for a Musket original pipe copy.

Thanks for the suggestion of making my own - I could do that but they look like shit and I want it to look pretty. And I'd still need a muffler of some sort on the end of it. Doesn;t anyone in NZ make one?

The bike below is not mine, it's a stock TT frame and swingarm with the left side pipe installed (that looks like a TT250 gas tank!)

Made all my own pipes for all my singles but its my job & welded for 30ys so very easy . Just finshed making a set of connecting pipes for a mates 08 KTM 950 Supermoto to convert to twin Akrapovics today & they look & sound fantasic may get some pics off him & a video chip of it running tomorrow to put with the other pipes etc I'v made . All the best which ever way ya go

Sorry, I'm not belittling anyone who makes their own pipes it's just not my forte. I'm good at what I do but that doesn't currently include welding and pipe bending - although I'd like to have a crack at tig welding. Unfortunately out local polytechnic only teaches courses in women's studies and underwater basket weaving so I have to learn the old fashioned way - lots of arc eye and slag burns!

I heard back from Geoff Morris in Aussie and he can't make me a set until May bugger it. I may have to buy a Musket header pipe and find an old supertrap muffler - anyone got one for sale?
