    Rustys PMCC Rnd 3

Weather looked a bit mixed for the weekend in Taupo, so loaded up the 400 with the set of wets i left on from the last meeting.

Saturday checked out the situation for Sunday and it looked like overcast in the morning with showers in the afternoon, very hard to pick, so changed over to full slicks for sunday.
After the last meeting in the rain, and takeing out 3 wins gave me a big advantage for this meeting, as i new there were some faster bikes out there in the dry.

Race 1: got a good start as my starts are usually crap and in turn 1 came out 2nd, after that got past buy the odd bike but my main goal was to finish. Got a 5th spot placing in race one, but 8 laps on the full track was pretty hard work and a lot of others also were feeling it.

Race 2 : pretty much the same as race 1 but ended up in 4th place as one of the bikes in front ended up in the kitty litter, again the aim was to finish.
After taking out the Trophy in "Post Classics" in 2006 and a season of due to injuries and other commitments it was nice to get it back again in 2008, on my 61st birthday.

A big thanks to my pit bitch Susie for her help with food, bike checks, and lap monitoring.

Once again a big THANKS to the "PMCC Club" marshalls and helpers for another great "Summer Series" see you all next year.
