Yeah, I know...unfortunately up here, it's the going rate for a half decent haircut, and my hair grows so damn fast, I'd really have to have it chopped every 4 weeks if I want to keep up with the "up to the minute corporate look" that my office requires

PS: I tried Just Cuts once, and they butchered my hair...never again thanks.

    commission based telemarketing job

    Don't do it!!!

As others have said raise your sights. If you are considering telemarketing try Call centres instead...much better prospects and you get salary most of the time too so can count on your pay each week/fortnight whatever.

I once worked a commission only job selling Saturn door to door - worst effing job I ever had and when on my 4th night out there beating the streets a guy tried to pull me inside his house I rang my 'employer' from Caltex Rimutaka (down the road from the creeps house) to tell them that they could stick their job where the sun doesn't shine and mother no longer kisses them!

OMG ME too and when I went to another hairdresser to get it 'fixed up' she asked if I had cut it myself! Then she had to tell me there was little she could do to make it better.

Worst haircut though was when I won a TV makeover and they 'made me over' during the live broadcast - that was another hairdo that needed fixing but this time the hairdresser asked if I'd let my son cut it!!!!

Oh dear! Maybe I should get my hubby to pay for my haircuts...he hasn't had to go to a hairdresser since he met me... It's a curse being handy with a pair of scissors, but not being able to do it for yourself.

    Complimentary Facial (30 min)
Complimentary eyebrow tidy and eyelash tint
Complimentary 5 Foils or 3 Colour flashes
Complimentary hair treatment suited to own hair type and condition
50% off a Designer Cut and blow wave
    50 % Off a Massage
    Complimentary nail file and paint
Complimentary express manicure with every pedicure
    3 x Complimentary yoga classes.
3 x Complimentary Power Plate sessions
2 x Complimentary Booty Camp Trainings
Complimentary 1 on 1 one hour pilates assessment
    Complimentary reflexology treatment (20 mins)

And a lot of discounts on products and services from the 8 places

Costs $60 for the voucher booklet which is the same price as the facial would normally be. Over $700 value all up

So, would anyone actually buy one either for themselves or for a gift? Know anyone that would or do you think it's a waste of time?

This wouldn't be for a crowd called "Gold Book Promotions" would it? If it is stay as far away as you can is my advice!

I honestly wouldn't think about doing this kind of job if I were you.
People are now so completely desensitised to sales people now that you need to have true banefits to sell , and the ability to communicate them.
this kind of product has been sold door to door in every suburb of every town for far too long, and people would generally have no interest.
The other factor is that the type of people that would want these vouchers for these discounts probably wouldn't have the sixty dollars spare lying around for it.
