Was just glad to get home and get off the bike ( never thought i'd hear myself say that!) Was bloody glad to have some company for that return trip eh, thanks again Rob and Shingo!

The cape reinga tour was great on the other hand, got better throughout the day, every day, and was really in the groove the whole way, was awesome. probably just as well i didnt go the whole way then
It sometimes happens to me, I usually just pull over somewhere pretty for a break and have something to eat (eating helps fix lots of things ).

You would have come out of it at some stage, pitty you didnt come coz you missed an awesome race between me and Bass-treble

Oh yeah, gotta love the tinted visor. I dunno how i ever rode without it eh
Would've been interesting to see the ol sunnies trick. I have seen it done before, and dunno how they didnt crash , i have enough trouble doing it with gloves on when fully stopped and using two hands!

yea i almost ran off the road twice when I just lost my grove entering the corner and then got straight back into it, it was weird. (i actully left the tarmac and almost went off a big cliff/drop!)

There was one hell of a drop at one stage! Bottomed out my rear mid corner and my feet and ass said goodbye to the bike for half a second

Nah, there was this dirt walking track.... but it was locked
I get bounced out of my seat quite a bit, used to scare me.

oh too bad you couldnt get to it, would be cool to go round to all of them in nz.

I remembered the downhill section heading back to Kopu well as i chased a white Harley through there on my last coro loop. I was keeping up with her too apart from the straight bits, when a twist of her wrist would open up a huge gap bloody quickly.

Plus i knew they were the last corners before we hit the boring straights heading through Miranda and sh1.

Putting my sunnies on was fun to do, almost dropped them a couple times. But i got them on in the end, even though i had to let go of the bars for a bit to do so.

All up it was a good ride for me, best part being the hill heading towards Tairua. Rob set a nice smooth pace with myself, the guy on the NSR250 and the guy on the hornet (sorry forgot your names) following. Many will disagree with me on this but i like that hill the best and will be going in the opposite direction next time.

Bro, I found out last week that I can fit my clear visor inside the pillion seat with the visor going over both sides down the inside on the fairings! So I always have both visors with me. I was stoked when I came up with the idea haha!

I havent got one for my shoei yet, only had the helmet a couple weeks. I am pricing up some from overseas, as i want a gold mirrored one, but cant justify paying $165 from the shops over here.

I used to, but found the sunnies cut down on my peripheral vision a lot (had to screw my head riiiiiiiight around for a proper head check), and were too dark when ya rode into shadows. The tinted visor i find is good in 99% of situations, but there's not a lot you can do riding straight into the sun
Have been caught out a couple of times after dark without my clear visor on me, the ol eyes water a bit on the ride home. And now heading into winter, the face freezes up a bit

I hope that "smooth" doesn't mean slow!!! Was a bit touchy on the brakes that entire hill ay but oh well. Spent the entire time trying to work out who was behind me, I was sure his nsr was white lol but the front was like red!

Hey I'm keen to do a reverse coro loop sometime, as a group or just a couple of us would be fun too. Want another SMC learner ride soon to get James going open road on his Bandit too .

It's a comfort thing for me, I find glasses cut into the side my head after a while.

My glasses wouldn't fit in my helmet without killing my face so I grabbed a visor, damn nice on the eyes, I wear it most of the time and love it. Enjoy being able to give cagers a stare when I'm annoyed and they can't tell what I look like... Uncertainty = Fear

id be keen to do a reverse loop, never been that way.

yea shadows are a bit scary sometimes, but i dont have any issues with my peripheral vision with glasses.

my glasses have thin arms, so slide down in between my helmet easily.

Glasses can get uncomfortable on longer stints (depends on the glasses tho i suppose)
Not such an option for those of us who wear prescription specs (tho i try to ride with contacts as much as possible anyways)
Less glare / odd reflections (i found them at certain light angles with the sunnies)
absolutely zero blockage of vision (again, will depend on the shades)
no crafty angles for the light to get on your eyes directly (again, depends on the glasses)

Personally, i find it a less distracting and more constant tinting of the view, which allows me to concentrate more on the road. Every part inside the helmet is tinted, and my eyes seem to adjust better to it.

Best suggestion would be try someone's lid that has a tinted on it (or pinch someones visor who has a matching helmet), and see if you like it. Personal preference i guess
