    F3 Racebike

So umm...who's got a reasonable priced F3 racebike they want flogged? Will even consider hiring one as I'm finding I ain't got the time for spannering.

I have my orange coloured lemon that I don't seem to use nearly enough.

What events are you thinking of running in?

VMCC winter series and perhaps the PMCC next year (hopefully I can talk them into running a formula 400 class). F3 and if it's old enough pre 89. Bang per buck the CBR has given me a LOT of enjoyment last year.

However, I get very very stressed doing even simple spannering and at the moment seem to be working regular 70 hour weeks (not complaining, I LOVE having my own business and most days it doesn't feel like work) so I just don't have time to fark about in the garage (plus there is the fact I'm totally #@$ckin useless at mechanic things). Ideally if I could talk another kiwibiker racer/pit-bitch into just dealing with the bike side of things and throw some peso's at them for the trouble then I'd be a much happier bunny indeed.

I hear that some perverts out there actually enjoy working on bikes so my way of thinking is that I'll do the job I enjoy in order to pay them to do something they enjoy. Whilst money isn't exactly abundant, if I have to pay an extra couple of grand or so a year to never throw a spanner at my bike or deal with parts departments then so be it. I know I'll take a lot of flak for this post but I enjoy the racing and don't want to detract from that.

How purty is your bike and roughly how many of your finest kiwi peso's would you take for it?

    Frosty's still got his faux-Britten SV650.

He might be amenable to some such arrangement.

    Stevie,
check this out. This geezer could be your type. If I read it right he would be happy to work on just about anything and do a bit of storage.

You are sponsored by a shower buddy?!

Sometimes I wish I was pretty because then all I'd have to do is take a shower with someone und "Hey presto": sponsorship!

    But I an't.

Scratcha'd be pretty if he had a shave and wore a clean shirt. Maybe he could try a similar arrangement.

Im one of those PERVERTS dude

I think your attitude to the work/Prep side of going racing is brilliant, if you are not mechanical, do not do it, you could hurt yourself or some one else.

If you lived near me, I would love to prep your race bike for you, I do get a bit hit from a job well done on bikes, as I know how important quality preperation is!

    Guys/Gals,

Been gobsmacked at the response. Inundated with offers via the private message thingiemibob and folks using the old fashioned telephone. Makes me wonder why the hell I've wasted so many hours in the garage stripping threads trying to fix things myself.

Please don't take offense if I haven't got back to you. At the moment I'm taking up the offer from with someone who has most of the CBR parts it needs and who can store the bike for me.
