That was the first thing I noticed too. I think we must be optimists.

or Monteiths Black. Or that funny lemon-tasting Monteiths, what's it called, 'Radler'? It's not a bad drink if you abandon any hope of it tasting like actual beer.

I bought 3 dozen empty bottles from a bottle merchant somewhere in Otahuhu I think, for my home brew. Was so impressed with the bottles that I went back a month or so later to get some more, only to be told there weren't any... Highly sought after, apparently, and now they've stopped importing them.

Still available in Europe, so on my last trip I brought back 3 empty bottles which was all I could fit in my suitcase.

Anyone know of a source of the empties in NZ?

You could always start nicking the ones some cafes use for sauce bottles...

    Gut Wrenching Accident

Picture of a horrible highway accident in Germany. The picture may be
kind of hard to take for some of you.

If you look closely you can see what appear to be some survivors of
the accident still in the wreckage. Although the picture is quite
graphic, it makes you realize how quickly our loved ones can be taken
    from us.

My friend stayed on the scene to help and even though he performed
    mouth
to mouth on quite a few of them, none apparently survived.
