Where can I look at what they sell? I cant seem to find shit all on the net about the stuff?
reason, is I saw a jacket I liked at botany honda, and wanted to know more about it without talking to the jerk salesman

Personally I would say avoid it, my gear is a couple of years old but the seams have started to come apart, I wont be replacing it with the same.
Its not the destination that is important its the journey.
Same, my spool suit peeled apart at the seams with a fairly minor off......

As above, the stitching on my spool jacket is going to pieces too. I won't be buying that brand again.
I know someone who's spool one piece stitching came to pieces while crashing bucket racing.

Another vote for getting something other than Spool.
My pants are breaking/broken in all the places where it doesnt matter, but its still very inconvienent not having the liners domed into the bottom of your pants, and the tag on the zip on my left pocket snapped off after 3 months.
I would give my Spool cordura gear an average rating. After 2 years[not worn all the time] there are a few loose threads, but it has proved almost waterproof in one massive downpour and general wet weather riding. I have Spool leather sports gloves and they are great. 2 years of riding and still in ok cond. Sounds like Spool leather wear is to be avoided however.
I had Spool Sp23 gloves, best gloves I have ever had, crashed 4-5 times in them and finally had to replace them when they wore out after about 5 years use
I now have Spool Tifon Gloves and think they are crap compared to the old ones, stitching was starting to go from the day I got them and I've worn a hole in one of the fingers after 4 months
Spool... dont like it, had cordura set.. fell apart after a year and was never that water tight, as far as Spool leather... havent had any but same as whats been said when sent down the road.
cheers DD
(Definately Dodgy)
Ive got a spool jacket n pants... mine havent fallen apart... they faired really well when I binned it... only thing thats broken is the plastic zip bit broke so now I just have a cable tie on it![]()
"World famous since ages ago"
I've had had a set of spool 2 piece leathers for about 4 years now and in that time i've had two crashes wearing them - once on the road and once on the track. In neither case have any of the seams come undone.
So in my case I can't fault them.
Life is difficult because it is non-linear.
I've had a two peice for about 2 years now. No off's yet, but I'll keep a good eye on it to see if there is any deterioration.
I've got nothing but praise for the stuff - have had my one piece race suit for about five years now, still looks as good as the day I bought it, no sign of deterioation at all...
Starts to look dirty pretty bloody quickly due to the colours it is but its nothing a quick wipe down with a damp cloth & some warm soapy water doesn't fix...
From the sound of things the quality has taken a bit of a dive...?
Cheers
