    It happened to me again!

I was riding up John St this morning and this guy in van looks down the road at me (and the traffic behind me) and pulls out from Hanson St anyway!!!! It was a busy intersection but man was I peeved. Again I continued riding with my heart in my mouth then calmed down and thought of all the reasons I should be grateful the great turd didn't wait any later to pull out in front of me.
My goal in life is to be as good a person as my dog already thinks I am.

Couple of months back when I was on my bicycle, I was biking along the side of the road, and this dipstick backs out of her driveway at the speed of light and I whack into her. I had to pay for panelbeating bills($500)

We tried to say backing out of driveways is illegal, then we found out it is illegal in Wellington and Lower Hutt, but not in Upper Hutt. So they blamed it all on me.

That's not right. The Vifferbabe carefully backed out of our gargre a couple of years ago - nothing coming, so she carried on, and some eedjit tried to go around the back of her, and had the side of their car smashed in. The insurance company and AA both said that if someone is reversing and has a collision, it's legally the fault of the person reversing. So we had to pay.
Our only satisfaction was that the Pajero was essentially undamaged, and the whole of the Shitsubishi (or whatever the hell it was) was stuffed, and they had no car for a few weeks.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

I haven't been to lucky on my bicycle. Most drivers work on the mentality 'cycles are physically smaller, giving cars more rights on the road'. I had to give way to every vehicle in my way, most of the time I had the bloody right of way. Also the drivers in their clean, road going 4x4's think since cars are smaller, they have more rights on the road.

I respect truck drivers as they are the only ones who give way for bicycles. A huge eighteen wheeler stopped for me when he had right of way.

You'll find there's no difference moving on to two wheels + engine. They'll still ignore you. Remeber cagers = Homicidal manics who sole purpose in life is to kill you, and be safe out there.

In my charmed experience the cagers that look like they are going to pull out in front of me have all stopped dead when they see me glaring at them while taking evasive action. Am I just lucky or is there a benefit to the eye contact??

    How's your peripheral vision??
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

    rich cager dicks

Had a guy in a porche cut me off once back home. His rear bumber was mere inches away from my font tire. Luckily when i ride im always looking for the accident that i know is gonna kill me so i saw it coming and avoided hitting him, but i was pissed off so i pulled up next to the guy to try to get him to pull over by waving him down. The bastard was on his phone and fliped me the bird so i pulled in closer and kicked the side of his door leaving a big dent then pulled off and went on my merry little way all the while watching the guy fumming over his stearing wheel at me in my mirrors

I think with a porche you could get a wheel up and ride straight over... :-D
