    Investments

    INVESTING FOR YOUR RETIREMENT:

If you had purchased $1,000.00 of Nortel stock one year ago, it would

    now be worth $49.00.

With Enron, you would have had $16.50 left of the original $1,000.00.

With WorldCom, you would have had less than $5.00 left.

But, if you had purchased $1000.00 worth of Beer one year ago, drank

all the beer, then turned in the cans for the aluminum recycling REFUND,

    you would have had $82.80.

Based on the above, current investment advice is to drink heavily and

    recycle.

    Ouch - the pain.

As a former Nortel employee my share options are now in a sealed envelope in the attic. The last time I worked out what they were worth I was actually in negative equaty!

Bloody good fun when the telecoms market was booming though.

So that means that if they find out how many shares you have they'd demand you pay them money?

    At last a sound investment

    Financial Planning, did you know....

If you had purchased $1000.00 of Nortel stock one year ago, it would now be worth $49.00.

With Enron, you would have had $16.50 left of the original $1000.00.

With WorldCom, you would have had less than $5.00 left.

If you had purchased $1000 of Delta Air Lines stock you would have $49.00 left.

But, if you had purchased $1,000.00 worth of beer/wine one year ago, drank all the beer/wine, then turned in the cans/bottles for the aluminium recycling REFUND, you would have had $214.00.

Based on the above, the best current investment advice is to Drink heavily and recycle.

If you invest in Lombard you would not know what you are worth, if anything.
