    There is heaps of car & boat storage places in Picton, you get the motorcycle transporter company to get it up to you, instead of all the effort you need to go to to retrieve it yourself.

    oh, oh, another idea - call trucking companies - they may have drivers heading down that way who could help. And Im sure they would enjoy having some company.

    esp if you offer them a "A hitchhikers payment"

    Yes I agree, Busa Pete. I bought my BMW from Chch and considered flying down and riding back but would have needed time off work and in the end it was cheaper and less hassle to get motorcycle movers to collect and deliver it. Hope you get it sorted DD. New bike fever (NBF) makes us do strange things..........

    I wonder if Dan has worked out the the "One careful lady owner who only used the bike to pop to the shop on weekends" was all bullshit yet?

    Seriously - if the guy was fangging it so much to lose his licence - then I'd tell him to keep the bike and I'd find a new one.

    It only takes 140 to lose your licence doesn't it?. I'd never do that speed
