Well met the famous DD, we drove past the remains of the Ice Pac Coolstore, he got some gas and I escorted him thru hams and waved good by at 4:12 (3:12 really) at the sign that says 121k's to AK. So the rest is up to him. He still sounded coherent so guess he is ok

Well done guys, I'm sure DD really appreciates the directional help and the company on his long adventure, this is one to tell his grandkids one day.

Great stuff all those who've helped him out - pity he's only got to ride most the length of the country with very little sleep due to having work!

He's probably waking up and scratching his arse as we speak. Hope he can catch up on some sleep soon.

what sort of bike did he buy? Hey Disco. What sort of bike did you buy?

If the saddle needs recovered would you consider riding to Invercargill to get the job done? You could travel overnight eh?

Can't go without that 'splet' now can ya!! But my warped sense of humor aside - I am really relieved that you made it home ok, let alone to work.

Wish I had a camera when we met yesterday so I could have shared the view with the rest of KB... Very fetching outfit, but IMO you didn't do it much justice looking pretty wornout and tired even then!

Oh and PS - Nice bike

I hope you dont mind but your visor was very effective at collecting bugs ...would you like to me to keep them on there for your own collection or shall I give it a clean? Hey, now dont get me wrong.. I dont mind either way, just thought i'd ask.. hehe... ...and thanks again

Ummm Whilst I appreciate the offer of the extra bugs I do believe that I am quite capable of collecting my own so a nice clean visor would be just the ticket thanks..

    Happy to help
