    Log out

Is there are setting within the site to extend the time before your computer automatically logs you out or is it a setting within my computer itself?

If you use the remember me button on the log in it doesn't log you out.

You need to set a global switch - [CTRL]+[ALT]+[DEL]...

Yeah, I know it doesn't work anymore - but it was fun when it did (DOS - Days Of Suffering).
It is preferential to refrain from the utilisation of grandiose verbiage in the circumstance that your intellectualisation can be expressed using comparatively simplistic lexicological entities. (...such as the word fuck.)

Interestingly, one of my PC's at home has stopped allowing this... all others are OK and no "known" changes have been made to the PC but despite selecting remember me and it successfully logging me in, once I close the broswer or after (a set period) which I havnt actually identified yet it logs me back out.

I have "remember me" on my logon.

Does not matter, my connection times out, and logs me out all the time. I still appear to be logged on if you look at the home page, but no. Most frustrating when you have composed a PM, or post and you submit your response only to discover your words are gone into cyber ether.

I have taken to copying my replys/PMs if I know RL has intervened and I was not quick enough responding before using the submit button. Saved my bacon a time or 5 I can tell you.

Be wonderful if some smarty pants can help resolve this issue. I have been told it is not a KB problem, but my PC set up. I have tried and made all suggested changes to my defaults here and still failed

Copy and paste is your friend mate!
