    A Sunday ride (6th)

Provided the weather is fine (Ok so as long as its not raining and its warmish) is anyone up for a ride this Sunday?

Just a cruise up through either Greta Valley or Leader Road (perhaps both).

Tentative plan is to leave mid to late morning, have lunch and a beer somewhere along the way and to be home by 5.

grammatically incorrect for our Pale skinned defender of the people

BTW It takes a higher degree of alertness, concentration, self control to ride straight roads. Particularly around here as it's one of the countries Black spots for accidents (mostly caused by inattention & stupidity)

A bit of schooling actually helps you spell correctly too and use less slang Tossers usually ride red dukes I did once but it was a REAL Duke not one of these common characterless modern things

Sorry Spuds for woffling in your thread, but the way the weathers is shaping up it's going to be a wet weekend too

While I would love to attend this auspicious occasion, recent skeletal injuries slightly aggravated due to an excursion on this last Wednesday night means that it is unfortunately impossible.

How ever have a good ride.
Its not the destination that is important its the journey.

I slipped a disc in my back, while working in the garden, and really should not have been on the bike, but refused to miss the ride thus I am now worse off than I originally was.

But I had fun so ..... I would do it again

Ive so far managed to get my Dad to come.

I should be along provided the weather is agreeable. Has a meeting place/time been decided on?
