    20k is pretty damn good

least you've only got to deal with bias type tyres & not radials

Put a set of BT45s on the GSX for my mate; went 120/80-16 on the front and 130/80-18 on the rear.

Mate you can buy some cheap arse crap that will out last you... but at the end of the day its the only thing between your arse and the hard black shit... dont take the cheap option, it may cost a lot in the long run.

    ps: I race on BT45's
pps: twr, up ya nose with a rubber hose
    cheers DD

I had a set of Sport Demons that seemed to work bloody good.

The only reason the front lasted so long is because I havnt had the time or money to change it.

WOF is coming up shortly though so I'll change it tomorrow hopefully.

How many K's can I realisiticly expect to get out of some bt45's?

I've got 19000ks on my rear one with still a wee bit of wear left yet. Oddly, I had to replace the front one after only 18000kms. I think I ran it a tad under-inflated.
Before that, I got 17000kms out of the first set.
I guess with your fire-breathing behemoth of a bike (compared to mine) 14000ks might be about it?
