    Skip bins? (Rubbish)

    Hi All

i'm looking at getting one to do a big clean out at home and wondered if any of you out there got one recently and what are the costs

I Did have the idea of typing up a quick letter to a few naighbours close by and seeing if they want to get rid of some stuff to and we could all pitch in for cost of bin i'm still considering this idea

Any of you KB members work for a skip bin company - maybe

Cheers and Ride safe all and take care
    Big DAN

It's freakin expensive. We found it was cheaper to load up the trailer and take it to the dump ourselves. I think we took about 5 trailer loads, it was still cheaper that way.

Depnds on many things ... e.g. there are normally three or four sizes to choose from .. and then the length of time you have it at the house ... and all that sorta stuff. I use them at the properties i manage for contracters to get rid of stuff around them but apart from that there is the trailor and the tip.

Hey mate, I recently opened an account with waste management for a site toilet and skip at my house I am building. They charge (usually) based on the changeover cost. Depends on what size you want, probably about $200-$300. Will look on my account if it states the cost and if so, will post here.
Nail your colours to the mast that all may look upon them and know who you are.

Can't help you sorry. But it reminds me of an accident a friend's dad had a while back. Riding his scooter at night, he somehow managed to ride smack straight into a big metal skip. He was quite badly hurt and had a big payout off someone cos it didn't have a reflective lamp hung on it which is apparently a requirement (and a good idea) back in the UK.

Don't forget it's there when you get home!
