Good to hear your okay. Not like some of those firefighters in Hamilton today. Go buy a lotto ticket. Thankfully you were doing 55kph and not say 70, which is not uncommon in a 50k area. Good lesson for all of us to slow down. Sounds like your speed may have saved your life. Take it easy for a while.

Glad to hear you are okay and the bike took the hit for you it seems Like everyone says, take a little time out to chill and deal with the razzmatazz that goes with the paperwork etc.

And oh yeah, go searching for a new bike?

    What about red?
Saying that I think a glow in the dark paint job would be pretty sweet.

It would look like you were riding a ghost bike... for half an hour or so anyway.

Glad to hear that you are ok even thou the bike aint but at least that can be replaced. Give yourself time to recover before making a decision about giving up motorcycling forever. Hopefully once u recover from your injuries you may consider getting yourself another bike and then be able to enjoy motorcycling they way most of us do. Goodluck with your recovery.

dude, it sucks but theres many factors that can effect your driving, although it was definately the cagers fault, jail times a bit rough........
