Nothing but respect for the deceased and honor to his name. Anyone who risks their lives for others and seeks to protect others deserves special honor.
Nail your colours to the mast that all may look upon them and know who you are.
It takes a big man to cry...and an even bigger man to laugh at that man.

Anyone who saw the interview with his wife on ONE news tonight?

Heartbraking and uplifting at the same time - a very strong woman indeed.
It is preferential to refrain from the utilisation of grandiose verbiage in the circumstance that your intellectualisation can be expressed using comparatively simplistic lexicological entities. (...such as the word fuck.)

Respect to all fireman, they truly are most highly regarded service, paid or volunteers, putting the public before themselves.
Very sad to have one killed or injured in the line of duty.

The only reason I only ride in the Iron man Class is I have no friends left to enter the two man events,
    my own fault really.

It's 17 years since I lost a couple of fireman colleagues in a blaze in my home town.

Even now It still hurts incredibly when I hear of similar tragedies such as this, the fire brigade is like a second family to those that work within it, the loss will be devastating for the station, the brigade and the families.

I can't express eloquently enough how much I feel for the injured and bereaved but I'd like to thank all firemen for their selflessness bravery and sacrifice on our behalf.

These men and women watch our backs 365 days a year for our entire lives, anonymous best friends just when we need them most.

True heroes and one lost is one too many.
    Bless you all.
    Oh bugger
