    vfr400 engine +carbs wanted

anyone with a nc30 or nc35 (if they fit??) engine for sale or carbs for sale would be awesome. Is to go into a race bike so it must be in reasonable condition as i have a preferance not to die.

alternatively if someone can figure out why massive amount of petrol is draining into the oil then i might only need carbs.

Only motorcyclists understand why a dog hangs his head out of a car window

Happens only when you leave the gas on and bike is off aye?

Probably a stuck float or its seeping past the valve, overflowing the carb which will spill over into the motor, seep past the rings and into the casings, raising the level in the sight glass and thinning your oil substantially

I would say it's just the carbs.

I had a simular problem with an old GSX250 of mine. I had to turn the tap off and let it run the carbs dry before turning it off or it would leak petrol quite a bit of petrol into the crank over night.
