    FOR SALE: Ducati 999S

Mint piece of Italian kit. Looks very much as new condition, S models come standard with full Ohlins front and rear. Its got loads of V-twin punch, effortless handling, running Bridestone BT002 tyres, has aftermarket Ducati Performance slipper clutch with open clutch cover, and that v-twin rumble that makes us gals go all funny inside
I'd say this bike is faultless really.

Will post pics next week for ya.

BUY IT(before I get hooked on it)

It's not about being sensible you know....it's about the fun you have along the way

Would this be the same 'S' that came second in the hill-climb? And if not, what colour is it?

    Oh, maaaaan, 16 grand...

If only I could fit on the bloody thing without being in agony after the first hour.

Edit: Actually, y'know how Drew reported that he had great trouble keeping traction on the rear during the hillclimb, right? What was determined to be the reason for that, setup-wise? Presumably one can get a 999S going good without having to leave giant darkies striping off out of every corner.

    stop eating pies!! bwahaha

re:traction.......the bike was purely set up for road use (standard factory suspension)....the pace he was riding at would have benefited hugely from a race set up....stiffer spring and re-sprung forks etc. Not bad cutting 3 seconds of the record though

If you can ride it as fast as Drew then I'd eat my undies! ....and even YOUR smelly undies

Racing Pies, sunshine. Anyway, it's my fucked knees that are the problem; they hurt the same when I fold them up for long periods of time regardless of whether I'm at 85kg or 105kg.
