Yes, off my face, shoulders, leg ... cant remember where else.
Guess you will have a couple of stitches there to close the wound and let it heal. The stitches generally come out in 5-7days.
As to getting your helmet on. So long as there in no discomfort and the wound has a dressing, there would be no time lost. But ask the doctors advise be best.

And PS .. when they do take out the stitches make darn sure that the whole stitch comes out. The nurse should put each knot and loop onto something to make sure its all there.
You want to avoid the wound not healing cause a stitch has been left in and going infected.

I'd be interested to hear how this progresses. I have had a rather large mole on my left eyebrow and I'm considering having it sorted one day.

Not that it worries me, although small children are forever asking me what it is.

It's the whole skin cancer thing, you know.

Let us know how you get on.

And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

Doctors can do some pretty good work. Had a non-suspect small lump removed from one eyelid. Couldn't tell you which one as it doesn't show!

To quote Austin Powers on this most sensitive of matters:
