    Best hangover cure

Come on, i've been trying to figure this one out for years.

The only thing that works for me is a hair of the dog, but seeing as i might be working today, that's sort of out of the question.

I've done the bacon sandwich and two cups of tea but my mouth is still like roadkill and my brain is threatening to turn of if it gets any sorerer.

    Any ideas?

    Grease - check.
    Caffeine - check
    Fluids - check
    Chilli - no
    Sugar - no
    Painkillers - no

Half the list complete, how you get the rest into your system is up to you. Personally, I favour paracetamol and sweet chilli sauce on the bacon...

Don't go to work: I like the sound of that one but i don't think it counts as a cure.

Don't drink so much: too late for that.

Painkillers: genius. I forgot about those.

Sugar: will try another cup of tea with sugar this time

Chili: Bizarre. But i'll give it a go

The reason for hangovers/headaches is basically dehydration. Alcohol is a diuretic and you lose a lot of fluid, more than you're taking in. You may notice you go to the toilet much more frequently when drinking heavily?

If you want to drink and avoid a hangover, drink lots of water during the evening as well, to replace the fluid you're losing.

    (That'll be $250 consultant's fees, thanks...)

Haha. Good point! Hope it didn't put too much of a dampener on the tour.

BTW, i must've got you guys mixed up. I thought the guy on the busa was Cajun but yours is the gsxr eh?

Also, that chili didn't work! It's sort of a diversionary tactic i think.

As in: "oo my head" "oo my head" "holy shit my mouth is on fire" "oo my head"...

There's a pretty heavy impact from metabolites of the alcamahol stuff as well (worse with dark drinks, so that's not a myth) - drinking the water helps flush these out of your bloodstream quickly, and scientific study shows that bacon grease plays a key role in counteracting their effect. True.

Before heading to bed, drink soo much water that you feel like your going to burst. Then you should feel a little more hydrated the next day.
    Works for me anyway.

Other than that, force yaself to eat food, and drink even more water the next day.
Unfortunatly its all part of the drinking experience.
