From yesterday's Marlborough Express. Hope that the biker will recover okay and that they find the driver of the car.

"Blenheim police are looking for the driver of a car whose alleged bad driving forced a motorcyclist to crash to avoid a head-on collision.

The driver did not stop to help the injured rider.

The crash happened at 6:30am April 7 on SH 1 at Riverlands after the car turned directly into the path of the motorbike.

A 36 year old man was taken to Wairau Hospital with chest and pelvis injuries.

Police said the white 4 door sedan turned into Sheffield St, which leads to the Riverlands Industrial Estate, causing the motorcyclist to take evasive action."

Anyone know more?

Shit I hope they get the SoB

I hope the police have a few more leads than "a white four door sedan" as there is a few of them on the road.
