Dooly, If I was to do a track day (which I won't) I would be in the slow group...that should answer that question for you.

    Tart likes it.
It is very yummy, quite drinkable in large quantities, I would say!

Mate up to you where ya start but can almost guarantee ya you'll be looking to move up to the med by the second shot at it ! If fridays crowd at the TT were anything to go by, the 600 will be fine up in medium ! The fast guys are in just that ! Wont be too many in med that want to play silly buggers in the corners ! You'll be two laps into the slow group and be looking to pass others ! All good for the ego but thats where the shit happens !
Did a whole 20 min in one of the mediums and only passed a couple of bikes and got passed perhaps twice ! Seemed as if everyone was on the same pace !
If you go out on the road on group rides and enjoy playing in the windy bits, class yourself as an ok rider, i'd say book into the med !
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

    Bowls can wait !

    Cheers mate.
Not sure if the 600 will be ready, waiting on a PCIII to arrive and sort out the ratshit fuelling and leaness it has now with the muffler and filter etc, but always have the Speed triple, and have ordered some low clip ons for it, so might be cool to blat around on that if I get my shit together.

Awwww true your in the bay aint ya ! You might be able to put me on to the bloke up there who they say is the magic with pcIII and has the dyno as well !

Ya heard about the new tuneboys ? got put onto them by one of the palmy lads and they spose to be even better than pcIII (as far as more options in the tuneing goes !

The 955 is all im running round in med with and fri was my first in taupo (one at manfield few weeks earlier ! The 600 being lighter would have it all over me in the cornering (then again some of the 400's were too and a few of the 1200's lol) The slow group is all good but really only for L plates Dooly !

The only place I know with the dyno and they sell PCs is Procycles in Napier the Triumph dealer.
Heard about Tuneboys, but thought I'd try the PC and play around with the downloads off their site and see what happens. As it is now I would'nt want to thrash the 600 too much in case it leans out too far and has a meltdown.

You could always just ring procycles and ask how much to do a custom map if there is nothing close to download.
Tis a Yamahahahaha G. Just thrash it like you stole it. Gixxer 4 ever
It really did look very unloved. Specially as it was next to the R1 that the whole crowd wanted to look at. Gixxer 4 ever

    Yep, done that.
They were'nt sure, and it sounded a bit 'awkward' if you know what I mean.

I ran out of gas. I had a flat tire. I didn't have enough money for cab fare. My tux didn't come back from the cleaners. An old friend came in from out of town. Someone stole my car. There was an earthquake! A terrible flood! Locusts! It wasn't my fault, I swear to god!

And if, say, a person owns a Suzuki, but wishes to take a bike of a different stripe to the Suzuki owners day.....?

Dooly: Sweet talk someone with a dyno to do a base run for you with the air/fuel sensor shoved up your exhaust. That'll at least tell you if you should be worried or not.

If there's a minor blanket issue, a Triumph shop can plug the TT in and richen the mixture over the whole range a tad just to put it on the safe side.

I'd lend you my PCIII but... it's in my speed four :P (funnily enough, it's a PCIII for a TT600)
