    NZ GP

TV1 have advertised that they will show some coverage of round 1 held at Ruapuna last weekend on Shell Helix Motorsport next Sunday at 3pm.

However, judging from past performance of TVNZ, it is likely that they will find something more important to schedule in instead or the previous item will run over time.

They'll probably show 'highlights', being a few seconds of the start, any crashes that happen, any good passes, and the winner crossing the line.

The total time they spend during the programme preceding this 'coverage' mentioning it as one of the upcoming attractions will probably exceed the actual screen time of the race.

More likely to be highlights of the highlights and if you blink, you will miss it.

Not having a tv means it doesn't affect me, but have any of you considered voicing how much you would like it if they got the rights for the IOMTT next year. They might me somewhat inclined to do it seeing as a kiwi won this year. Also contacting Prime about the same thing may have positive results, considering they took up the MotoGP (mentioning how much you appreciated that too could help).

    Just a thought.
