    Teratonga 12th Dec

Went to Teratonga to day. We didnt ride down due to the weather . Racing started 1 hour late due to rain and riders gambled with what tyres to use. Shaun Harris on 600 went well in the dry, Bruce Anstey scorched it in the wet. Tony Rees went well in the dry as well. If results are in paper 2morrow will post them.
Last Wed 8 of us had a track day and training by Brian Bernard. I reackon if you ride any type of road bike you will be a faster and a lot safer rider from doing a training day. We are going to try and get another one in this summer. The best part was emergency stoping. We drag raced for about 300m then stoped as hard as we could on front brake only.Ps Get yourself fit, 6 fast laps and I was rooted. Cheers Toddy

    Teratonga

And no I didnt take the harley, but I reackon I will get round the corners faster with out draggin the boards so much. Took the CBR, bit scary doin a wheelie out of the elbow then the wind would blow front of bike side ways. Cheers Toddy

I was there too. Lovely weather down southland.... glad I'm back up north. I think nicko was the only kiwibiker racing.

Teretonga is a great looking circuit and there was some excellent racing on both days. The superbike, 600 and F3 were all really close at the front. The weather didn't help much with track going dry/wet/dry and making tyre choice a bit af a gamble.

Lovely weather? you must have been at a different track than me then

I did the last sidecar race with Colin Hooper but as we neglected to tell the announcer we'd swapped swingers so I was referred to as one of the three ladys racing and the superlady of sidecar racing lol

Went out in second practice with Colin and after being passed by Gary/Pete coming through the s bends saw Pig part company from their outfit hit the tarmac and tumble off the side of the track,I remember thinking thats the drinks tonight taken care of,luckily he was alright with just some bruising

I didn't realise any other Kbers were attending or I would have looked you up

What number was the sidecar you were on? I left just after the last race (had plane to catch) but managed to catch all the races over Saturday and Sunday.
