    I am currently trialling 2CT's because apparently this problem has been fixed.
    So far so good. But the problem didn't previously become apparent till the tyres were half worn.
    The above problem is exactly what I hate about the pilot power 2ct

    It was an interesting experience trying to ride quickly on them. they're the tyres I had on when we went to Taupo Matt.

    I was however astonished by the amount of side grip available in the wet. That side grip disappears in the dry on a 1000cc bike at pukekohe though

    Caveat. I will not be using them on the track (since I now have a track bike). Thats the only reason I considered them.
    Your ones had done some rounds on the track hadn't they? (just trying to remember).

    My favourite is still the BT002 street.

    Thanks guys... Ive shyed away from the std D208's they didnt rate too well in a massive UK tyre test
    They were listed as a std road tyre and came 3rd in the road section.

    Interesting. the first link doesn't say which BT002's they were using.
    The streets, or one of the three race compounds.
