    Winston Peters vs John Campbell

Who watched the slugging match between these two? It was bloody funny!

What do you think about the fact that one of Peters' ministers made derogatory remarks about Asians and Winston is minister of imigration? I shall withhold my opinion for a bit.

It was amusing. Peters has always been a bit of a Muldoon when it comes to the press but you can't blame him. NZ press manipulate and sensationalise the news, in particular the Campbell show. Peters rightly nailed Campbell when Campbell claimed that the overwhelming majority of NZ businesses were in favor of the trade deal, an non-substaintiated opinion introduced as fact by Campbell.

Campbell's a drama writing monkey, and Peters is just a monkey.

Here's an opinion stated as fact.

Campbell is a grade A cock, and shouldn't be on TV.

    1) Campbell used to be good, and...
    2) err, so did Winston.

    Two has-beens in a slugfest.

Aside from that, Winston would deny anything that didn't suit him, even if it were witnessed by a million people, captured on TV and was something he had admitted to it in a signed affadavit.

How the guy still has any political credibility is completely beyond me.
It's back..."Political Correctness is a doctrine, fostered by a delusional, illogical, liberal minority and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media, which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the clean end."

Campbell is an A-grade knobend of the highest order. Listening to him is like sitting on the mat as a 5 year old while teacher reads a fairy story.
    John Pilger he certainly aint...

Not quite as ridiculous as the government's Foreign Minister voting against the FTD with China...

    Campbell is like DB.
I used to like it when I was younger but I outgrew it and find it too sweet now.

That interview was a total cringe - Campbell lost control and direction

Peters was always going to be a handful, and Campbell should have been prepared - when is free to air TV in this country going to get a decent interviewer....

But you really shouldn't compare the two IMHO.

John Pilger made Kim Hill lose her rag and throw his book across the desk.
    That was a good interview.

I like Winston. He makes me laugh, and he at least speaks his mind.
