Blardy hell, been a whiles since I done a right spannering like that with mates!

Fun and games and the usual brain fades occurring as petrol, oil and other intoxicants from mechanical things wafted into the night ...

Plenty of off coloured jokes, innuendo and the witty repartee that accompanies filthy biker scum!

Cheers to Stephen for running a great spanner evening, reminds me that I need to get back into those again for South Siders!

Note to EJ : Find a carb, install ... then you can decide what to do with the little FXR afterwards and not before!

Once more time EJ, it seems you don't get with the game plan!

Locate Carb suitable for purpose (oh wait, Xerxes!), attach, test ...

I think everyone needs to say it so you can hear the message over and over! :slap:

I think its time to hide the FXR at another location ... seems people are trying to track it down

    What a load of poppycock!

Now, if you'd be so kind as to lean forward toward me, ignore that silly flower in my lapel shaped like a microphone, yes that's it... and now just speak up in a BIG voice and tell me in COMPLETE confidentiality where the FXR is... there's a fellow

It was a fantastic night and look forward more in the future.

Got my throttle cable sorted in the end but took a good 2 hours.

Props to Stephen, Andrew and Justin for getting that damm fuel tank on and off.

It took 4 of us including me getting it back on as we didn't have any hose clamps, one to hold the tank, one to hold on to the pressurized hose, one to hold on to the overflow hose and one to attach all everything together.

Uh, yeah, sorry ANdrew! I owe you a beer - you had "the touch" with the honda tool (wouldn't work for me!) but the westie screwdriver won the day

Suspension is great BTW! Got thrashed through my home twisties on the way back - was waaaay better round bumpy corners - no disturbing wallowing or bottoming out - yay!

Great night all - sorry I had to leave early (I wasn't even in trubs when I got home!)

    Roll on next spanner night!
