"Bullshit says Goff"
Looks like Goff has had enough of all the press Cunliffe's been getting recently and has decided he needs some headlines to boost his profile, if he's going to have a show of being Labour leader after the election...

I've got a ferret here - more brains, character and more sex-appeal than the current PM imho.

I've found a replacement!!
It's only when you take the piss out of a partially shaved wookie with an overactive 'me' gene and stapled on piss flaps that it becomes a problem.
My eldest daughter is in the seventh form at high school. At the moment they are doing a discussion on politics and I was horrified to hear from her that her teacher quoted Helen Clark as being a ''great leader'' Just another indication of many that the education system is full of unreformable lefties.
I suppose it depends on your definition - she's great if it includes an ability to avoid having shit stick to you and to remain at the top for a long time.
Personally my definition of a grat leader requires that they actually drive you somewhere better rather than just occupying the drivers seat for a long time, in which case: FAIL.

I think that's Labours only chance of winning. The feeling I get is that most oppose Clarke on a 'personal' basis and not on policy. Secondly I think Labour needs a new face. Goff could more than match Key on 'all' fronts. Correct me if I'm wrong but Goff does not carry any baggage from the Rodgenomics era.
The smart move would be for Goff as Leader and Anderton as his deputy. Anderton has a proven track record on electioneering and could be an asset to Labours poor popularity. His loyalty and age should not be of any concern to the younger Labour MP's and his higher profile would increase the popularity of the Progressives where they may add an additional member for any future coalition between Labour and the Progressives. It may well l prove to be the foundation move for a reliable partner for Labour in the future. Will it happen?? I doubt it. Too many egos' would be bruised. But it 'is' the move to make.
