i use the mothers 3 step system and cant speak highly enough of it, same deal as Mcguires. give a deep rich surface, no swirls or marks.
and it is long lasting. have a look here www.mothers.co.nz

A universal dream of greatness is that
We push ourselves to the limit
Yet still be brilliant when the chips are down.
Sometimes , The struggle kills the dream.
I find the TW Ice is a good overcoat as such, I still use a cream wax then go over again with the Ice, I find it is the best stuff for plastic's for sure by far, that is a ++! but for a soul wax protection..... nope not for me.
DUCATI ------- A real bike in a sea of shit!
IMHO I think maybe TW-Ice should be treated like a step in a process like the Meguiar's stuff, I see that the have more "ice" products now.
Car wash.
Clay bar.
"Clear" Ice polish.
Ice paste.
By this I mean wash, clay bar, polish with liquid Ice then Ice paste...I dunno, just a thought.
I think in this case though it's going to be hard for a synthetic polish to ultimately compete with Canuba based polish/waxes.
There is no one step polish/wax that is a cure all for all needs.
Better still, is the 227 step, badass muthah fuckah bike wash system. It's only 4 grand, and thats cheap coz it will last 35 years even with the whole whanau using it.
Mind you, you will just be putting the last layer of the 172 layers of ultra-chrome in year 35, and some bastard has quite likely used the last drop of product in bottle Z99 before you got to it, on account that the cheeky cunt skipped the middle 100 steps, so you have to go spend another 4 grand, AND since you took longer than 20 minutes between coats, you will have to start over !
Yeah so this is a pisstake on the multi multi multi step systems of course.. I am persuaded that they do the best job of all, but my life is too short.

ey Scumdog, use Meguiar's on your T-Bird ....most polishes are pretty good these days but I like Meguiar's, they have a range of polishes dependent on the quality of the paintjob and they all do their job first-rate
