If you have ever wanted to be part of a World Championship Pit Crew, to be part of a team that battles through 6 hour, 8 hour or 24 hour races, to be in the thick of the action when it happens, then this could be your opportunity.

The selected applicant will need to pay a fee of 500 pounds to be part of The Kawasaki Diablo 666 race team, get themselves to the round at their own expense and pay for their own accommodation whilst at the event, but in return you will get a once in a lifetime opportunity to be part of Diablo 666 race team that is trying to win the World Championship.

You will meet the riders and see how they approach each race. Lend a helping hand to Diablo 666 race team knowing you have been part of their result. Be there to see pit stops and feel the rush of bikes rushing past you at over 300kph and be there right in the heart of the action, seeing and helping in those pressure packed moments.

    You will receive:

    1. Team Diablo 666 T shirt and a signed photo of you, with the team, to take home to proudly display on your wall.

Interesting. When I read the thread title I thought "Cheeky Fuckers", but after reading the blurb I would give it a crack if I had that sort of lazy money lying around under the seat of my MV. It's a competition too. I could win that. Clever marketing?

Well, in 2006 when living in the UK, I read a call in Superbike Mag for team members to join Phase 3 Endurance team. The team that Ressy, Stroudy and Holden and Damian Cudlin have ridden for in the past. I went over to their HQ in Somerset (from Kent, a bloddy long drive I'll tell you) and we spent the weekend there doing shit, cleaning up the place, meeting the team and having various little competitions, such as rear wheel changing, which I happened to win, YAY.
Anyway, the guts was, who wants to join the team, what job do you reckon you can do and how many hours can you spend at the HQ and how many hours can you stay awake?
99% of the endurance teams work is done in the weeks prior to the event and at the event almost every one stays awake for over 24 hrs.
In the end it was way too much committment for me to be able to make so had to give it a miss, but it was fun thinking about it.
